Angels of Broadway was a part of the 2023 Under Construction student-choreographer dance concert.
This Musical Theatre style piece featured two Broadway songs: "Bring on the Men" from Jekyll and Hyde and "All I Care About" from Chicago. The first song was an ensemble piece with four dancers. I focused on unified lighting looks with bright, bold colors to match the energy of the performers and music. The second song introduced a fifth dancer, our "leading man" type character, as Billy in "All I Care About." This continued the bright colors from before but added some moments of isolation for Billy.
